Really solid burgers and by far the best milkshakes in Vegas! The Brooklyn Blackout shake is ridiculously good and enough to feed two.

The American burger and chicken sandwich was spot on. The wagyu truffle burger was mid. The ambiance of the places gets you rocking!! Don't sit outside....not a good idea. Their milkshakes are very cool and huge!

My friends invited me to an early 4th of July dinner at Black Tap restaurant, located near the Sports book section of the casino, inside the Venetian Hotel. It was around 3pm on a Thursday and there was a 25-30 minute wait. The restaurant is nice inside with a somewhat edgy, black and white vibe with an area in the middle showcasing their decadent crazy milkshake creations! The menu had clear and simple offerings such as a variety of burgers, wagyu items, a falafel burger, chicken sandwiches, salads and sides including Brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries. We ordered the Old fashioned burger, the Texas burger, the American burger and an Oreo shake for my friend's husband. Everything tasted great but a little pricey at $20+ per burger. It's a perfect place to bring your family or those visiting because of the quality, taste, variety and huge selection of crazy shake desserts you could easily share. The only thing missing is that delicious (healthy-ish) ahi salad that used to be on the menu.

YES! I finally made it to Black Tap at The Venetian! My niece and her fiancé are staying at The Venetian (visiting from New Hampshire) and I suggested Black Tap to them for a late lunch. I bought my boyfriend along with me and this ended up being our second double date this week. It wasn't busy so we got a table right away. We ended up sitting inside because it was just too hot to sit outside. They are super easy to find, just across from the sports book. I'm just gonna jump right in and say that their milkshakes are WILD. We were seated directly in front of the bar area where they make the milkshakes. And yes, we did try them (who doesn't?). I ordered their CakeShake, my boyfriend ordered their Strawberry Shortcake, and my niece and her fiancé shared the Brooklyn Blackout. When our milkshakes came out, I couldn't believe my eyes. The CakeShake had a BIG piece of vanilla cake on top and the rim was covered in rainbow sprinkles. The Strawberry Shortcake had a cheesecake popsicle inside and a little strawberry lollipop or some other sort of candy. The Brooklyn Blackout had huge brownie pieces and other fun chocolate stuff inside. Immediately I knew that I was going to be full from my gigantic insane milkshake, so I skipped their food (next time I'll try their big burgers). One food item featured, however, was the street cart dogs, in which my niece and her fiancé also shared. There were three hot dogs total - one was served New York-style, one Chicago-style, and one chili cheese-style, which was on their July special menu. They said that the dogs were good but the chili cheese one was a little spicy. I'm happy that I got to experience Black Tap. Definitely worth coming to for their milkshakes.
